1. Visit the IRS Payments website.

    2. Select one of the “Pay Now” options or “Go to your online account” if you have one.

    3. Select "Estimated Tax" as the "Reason for Payment."

    4. Choose the appropriate tax form (Typically form 1040ES for individual taxes).

    5. Be sure to apply the payment to the correct tax year.

    6. Once you have made your payments, save the confirmations as PDFs and upload them to the client portal.

  • New York State Payments:

    1. Visit the NY State Tax Payments website.

    2. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and select “Log In.”

    3. In the middle of the screen select “Make a payment” under the Payments section.

    4. Select I want to “Pay estimated tax” from the dropdown.

    5. Select the quarter you are paying for and fill in the appropriate amounts.

    6. Follow the prompts and complete your payment.

    7. Once you have made your payments, save the confirmations as PDFs and upload them to the client portal.

    New Jersey State Payments:

    1. Visit the NJ State Estimated Tax Payments website.

    2. Follow the steps for making an estimated payment.

    3. Ensure you select the correct tax year before finalizing your payment.

    4. Once you have made your payments, save the confirmations as PDFs and upload them to the client portal.

Pay Your Estimated Tax

Estimated tax due dates for individuals typically follow this schedule:

1st Quarter- April 15

2nd Quarter- June 15

3rd Quarter- September 15

4th Quarter- January 15

If any of these dates fall on a weekend or a holiday, the due date is usually extended to the next business day.
